Galveston Island - West Beach at Sunrise

I have spent many days and nights as a child, a teenager and an adult on the unique stretch of Texas coast. We've fished, camped and played in the surf. The sunrise here is so intense but brief it is impossible to capture as a photograph it must be rendered as art. This painting will be auctioned in May through the Heritage Auction Galleries www.ha.com. I hope you like it!
