Reflections on Oak Creek- Sedona

Oak Creek Canyon in Sedona Arizona is flanked on all sides by beautiful red, orange and gold rock.  It is the center of the vortex world, a very magical place.  I have been there many times and will go back this summer.  the first time I painted this scene it was much larger version.  I sold it through a gallery there and now it hangs in the lobby of the Bank of Sedona.

Old Road Through Garner Park

The many trips to Garner State Park we always enjoy walking along the old roads that used to run through the park.  Created many years ago during the depression these trails are now a great way to see the park and enjoy nature.  Quiet and peaceful times in the Texas hill country.

Ranch land-Austin

I ride a mountain bike around Austin sometime. About 10 years ago I sketched and photographed this scene in southwest Austin where I live.  It is now part of Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center and a subdivision of new homes.  Lots of our area ends up like this, built out.  It was beautiful!
