The Frio River inside of Garner State Park is like a holy place for me. I have camped along this river as a little boy with my family and brothers. I have walked and camped here as a grandfather with my granddaughter Iris. The feeling is always the same, calm and cleansing of the spirit. I painted this piece this week. More to come.
